Those holsters look great! I ordered a Model 5 with a strap for my .44 special Colt New Frontier a couple of months ago. I can't wait to get it……

One of my first knives was also an Old Timer that I got back when I was in high school in the early 70's. It is a great knife and I still carry it from time to time. I also got the smaller Old Timer skinning knife that came with a subscription to Guns & Ammo at one time:

Thanks to the amazing generosity of forum member "Fowler", I now have a beautiful holster to carry my new Sheriff's Model in.... The holster is made by D. M. Bullard and it fits my little Sheriff's Model perfectly!

I see you like long barrels, nice!! Thanks! I like all barrel lengths, but out of the bunch, I have more of the longer barreled models.... This wheel is an addiction!!!....Keep feeding it.. It has taken me quite a while to gather the pistols together for the "Wheel". I started back in 1968 with the Ruger Single Six that was given to me by my dad. It is located between 10:00 and 11:00 o'clock in the photo. As mentioned above, I do like the longer barrels. I am hoping to add a 10-1/2" stainless SBH sometime down the road....

Is that the large OM frame or the New Vaquero size? I see its not marked NEW, but it has the ugly New Vaq hammer. This one is marked "Vaquero", but it has the smaller "New" Vaquero frame. I have another .44 special Ruger with a 4-5/8" that is marked the same way with the smaller frame. I am not a fan of the hammer on these either. I think a SBH hammer will be next on the list for these…

I was able to score a nice Ruger Sheriff's model on Gun Broker. This one is stainless with a 3-3/4" barrel and is chambered in .44 special. I believe the grips are laminated rosewood grips and they have a very narrow "Gunfighter" profile. I think they are similar to some of the ones that came on the Montado version that Ruger offered a couple of years ago. I am not sure if this one of a special edition that Ruger did for Lipsey's or maybe Talo. Now all I have to do is to find some suitable leather for this baby.... Oops....Forgot to add my "Wheel O' Rugers" photo!

I think they are referring to the main cylinder frame which is color case hardened and that the grip frame is alloy.....

Count me in for a 38-40/10mm convertible in stainless steel on the Bisley mid frame flattop with either a 5.5" or 7.5" barrel and pinned front sight.......
