Doesn’t that serial number make it a non USA parts gun? The break is around the 24k serial number. if I recall correctly.

I like the gun but I’ve never seen a Bowen email like that. He typically charges $75 for a letter for provenance.

There is no way the custom revolver market could absorb this many guns at one time. They should have been trickled into the market and auctioned if the seller was really interested in selling them.
Or he should have just put them in a museum and wrote off the “charitable deduction”. 💰💰💰

If he sells any of these at asking price, I’ll be cleaning out the safe and consigning them all. 💰💰💰

Beautiful gun but those jeweled hammer sides is a detractor for me.

I met John in 2015 at his shop. He was a gracious host showing me guns that were treasures of his, including a #5 he had built. Ask if I wanted to shoot and he gathered up ammo and guns and we walked outside. I expected 25 or 50 yd targets. Nope. 200 yard gong and 400 yard rocks. He changed the shooting world. He was a pioneer of sorts. I’m glad I met him and I own a 500 of his.

For whatever reason, I’ve decided I want one of these. I’ve looked at a Ruger and a high end JP. What else is out there? What do you guys have experience with?
Thanks.

Even with the porting, it’s a fine looking gun.
