Even with the porting, itโs a fine looking gun.

If it was a 4 5/8" I would be bidding on it... That finish is probably MetalLife hard chrome... And I like Mag-Na-Port...have several guns with it including a 6" FA 83 and a gun with it makes no difference to me...

Custom and no provenance as to who did the work is a pet peeve for me, along with pics not showing details, like cylinder face, muzzle, tops and bottoms, bore, etc. It is a very good looking gun and appears well done.

The serial number puts it as a 1984 built .41 Magnum. Likely a 6.5" shortened and ported, hard-chromed, ejector housing de-annodized, Super Blackhawk grip and hammer added, and target rear sight. Not a bad looking piece. It could use better fitting grips and a steel ejector housing, but that's just me. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

Off topic, but that's the shop I bought my first Ruger from in 1896, a SS 7.5" SBH.

Clearly, it was a pre-production model.
