That's got to be the worst 12 pictures I've ever seen of a stainless gun, if that is in fact stainless

That's got to be the worst 12 pictures I've ever seen of a stainless gun, if that is in fact stainless I'll see your terrible pictures and raise you a gun broker listing that I purchased a while back. All the listings by the gentleman in Maryland who had the assortment of customer revolvers I believe had by far the worst photos.

That gun looks familiar like it took up space in my safe for a while. Guess the guy didn't really want it that bad.

Kev, what's that second gun? I don't think I ever saw that one go up for sale. Had I been looking for a 500L, that first gun would have been gone long before you ever took possession of it. Fixing a cosmetically challenged stainless gun isn't THAT much trouble! It blows me away that it sat for so long. - Rod

The problem was the seller. Several people tried to buy from him and we're not successful communicating with him and to be honest I did a lot of homework to make sure I did not send someone a wad of cash only to find out that he was a fake. Now that I have the revolver, I have dressed it up and done some cosmetic work on it already. Mechanically it's perfect. The second revolver never hit the market. That was a word of mouth deal. It's funny how many of these get moved around and never really hit the market. That pinto vaquero is a five-shot 45. It's barely been out of the safe. In person it looks far better than what you see in the pictures.

Who did the 45?

Linebaugh. I am the third owner. The first one never took it out of safe. The second owner took it out shoot it before a hunting trip and carried it once to my knowledge.

There's a better picture of the pinto vaquero. Although my camera photography skills are not ready to be framed it definitely gives you a better picture of the revolver.

Well, I for one would have just as easily settled for the first picture of that Vaquero. With the first picture I merely thought about coveting (in a blurry, peanut-butter smeared sort of way), but now I've just gone and jumped straight into full-blown coveting another man's possession!
What a beautiful gun. I'm glad it found a good home.
