didn't get to really see the landing... guessing she never planed to travel that far, when jumping from the berm... probably went to her chest on the landing, but then seen a little further, looked like she was running normally, didn't look any worse for wear...

I have a couple... I know I was using this on at .359 with decent results in less than maximum loadings... www.midwayusa.com/product/2046216411?pid=718836you may want to check your barrel & cylinder throats, as they varied wildly between brands of guns, & years of manufacture

at the shot show this year... if I ever sold my Air Weight S&W in 32 H&R, I might consider the new Charter

I have and load several levels of 38 S&W… I’ve had good luck with an available cast bullet… I’ll have to go digging… I’ll let you know what they are… lighter weight, and a little bigger diameter than the normal

I've got a couple sets, & once finished, they are "grippier" than the same finished wood grips

I guess I was mostly thinking maybe hammers & or triggers... maybe screws... small parts
the top break I mentioned above, is easy to see it's not nickel... to me it's more "harsh" than nickel... but might be ok for carbon steel small parts that rust... grip screws on my 45 snubbie EDC, get rusty all the time, being carbon steel

Just sent some parts from my 1960 El Camino off to a pretty high end Chrome plater...
anyone ever sent revolver parts out for Chroming??? Grip frames ( maybe aluminum ones ) triggers, hammers???
maybe the added thickness of copper plating & chrome top coat would tighten up or screw up sears or??? on the hammer & trigger???
these guys are not an FFL, so frames would be out... but sending these classic car parts out for show quality chroming, just got me thinking...
so I bought an old top break revolver back 8-10 years ago from Gun Broker... the finish looked too good in the pictures, but the price was right... I'm sure that the whole gun was chrome plated... still looks nice, but the trigger is really gritty... not sure if that was how it was assembled, or pre existing condition of the hammer & trigger, or they got too thick, & someone had to gt rough with a file to remove the chrome for the sear surfaces or???

stock is really nice for a 10-22... I'm partial to the walnut & stainless guns... surprised it's not one of the hammered bull barrels

Had a couple hours this afternoon… took detailed measurements of both my BFRs, and my 480 Super Blackhawk… did some tracings on a piece of freezer paper… thinking I probably won’t try and fit the 480, as it’s quite a bit smaller than the 2 BFRS
So I think I have a workable base shape and size…I took some pictures to show what I’m doing, will post later tomorrow … the 2 ends of the bottom tray of the holster will be boxed, and it has about 1” tall front and sides… kydex will go taller in the center of the front to support the weight of the cylinder and frame… grip frame will be easy access, but have a boxed side, just like the muzzle… full flap will have a stud closure, and will fully cover the scope….I’m thinking of leaving a small portion of the grip exposed on one side of the flap to ease access
Going back to it after a short break, to trace out the leather ( 6 ounce veggie tanned leather )
Decided I like the Bisley grip frame on the 500 JRH, better than the regular grip frame with the wood grips… they’ll give me a better fit in the holster, and a more uniform grip shooting both guns… so that is off to Magnum Research, for the grip frame exchange before I can mark the stitching on the sides

My retired Tool & Die buddy also had a normal table vice, with 1/4" steel jaw inserts he made that had 3/8" thick hard rubber on them, to hold the guns

I walked past a section at Walmart this morning that was "created in that shape"... a whole section of fake chicken...
I guess I don't understand the vegan thing... I guess it's OK to not eat meat if you don't want to... but if that was really the vegan goal, why do they keep trying to make vegan products that have the taste & texture of meat???
