I truly like anything in .32; it is my favorite only behind .44 caliber. 30 Super Carry intrigues me but not for the reasons it is being marketed. It’s a similar situation which parallels the .327 and how it was marketed when introduced. Sure, it’s an adequate defensive carry round, but that’s not what interests me generally in this caliber. Small game hunting and fun shooting is my primary use. For this, there exists quite a bit of overlap from existing .32 caliber choices and they are currently meeting my needs. Would I consider using 30 Super Carry in a defensive weapon? Absolutely yes if I were not already invested in 9mm or .45 ACP. Do I need one or two extra rounds for how I carry? Very likely not. To that point I would not need more rounds; I would need backup...or a platoon. So, how do I see Super Carry currently? This may come across harsh but, unfortunately, I am seeing it as a big ole waste of primers...

Was at my gun shop a couple days ago. They attempted to show me a S&W 30 S.C. I told them not to even open the box.
I do agree, I could be a viable small game cartridge. But, unlikely to be chambered in suitable guns. Just the ridiculous name is a nail in the coffin.

Was at one of my LGS yesterday, they had lots of 30 Super Carry ammo, but not one firearm for it Lol! Plenty of 9mm, 40 , 10mm, 45 acp handguns. Had my son there seeing what he liked , a few caught my eye also, but it wasn't a 30 super carry ha ha.
