Just got my taller 2 Dogs sight mounted on my 500 JRH BFR... Fermin intentionally left the Torx screw a little long, so we could get as much bite for my specific revolver as possible... so my fabricator buddy & I took the screw down a few .001's at a time & could only get about 2 1/4 turns fabricator buddy & I both liked the torx screw for this application
wondering how they are mounting the sights on the new 500 Linebaughs??? on the .501's there is only just over 2 twists of threads on the screw, maximizing everything... take another .005" off the barrel thickness on the Linebaugh, & possibly add some more recoil... sounds like front sight screws stripping out???

The recoil is a wash. But I run them both a bit on the warm side.
