I have a Glock 20 with a KKM bbl. But I want a Dan Wesson. Got rid of my last Colt Delta a couple of years ago.

Yeah, figures you'd bring up Wilson Combat......
Doesn't Les make one too?
I'm trying to break my bad habit of trying to spend as much $$ as possible.
I kinda' like those Dan Wesson ones.

The DW ones are nice but they ain't cheap anymore either. Another that made a good gun was Fusion. Old DW guy was running the outfit at one time. Never cared for their particular style of serrations and such from an aesthetic standpoint but the guns shot well.

The EAA Witnesses are affordable and I have never had a problem with mine. Only complaint is the recoil springs are too light. The first time I shot it with full power loads my brass landed in the next county.

Okay I'll say it... I believe the 1911 design, and the Browning controlled round feed principle, is over loaded with the full power 10mm. If you need that level of power the designs that were built for it make much better platforms.

Would the SIG 220 qualify?
There is the Glock 40....which others?

My Glock 20SF has been a really good 10MM for me. It runs like a champ and I can put rounds where they need to go... I haven't shot cast yet, but hear that the barrel/rifling may be an issue...Dunno? If so I'll get an aftermarket bbl...

The G20 Gen4 is a nice gun like the SF. 16 rounds and recoil is soft. Also not overly heavy. WAY lighter than the Sig. Just not as nice to look at. Sigs are typically very accurate as well in all the ones I've owned. My G20s have been excellent though as well. I really like the G29SF as well. It's a neat gun with soft recoil and packable holding a substantial amount of ammo as well with G20 mags as backup. What do you want it for? That would be a big determining factor of course

Glock so are a less expensive way to try the 10mm, I do believe that in the near future I will buy a new barrel for it and shoot some cast bullets with it. Ronnie
