No clue...all I know is that it was a GHOST marked connector and two very weak springs...the recoil spring assembly looked original factory. I would like to get a steel replacement guide rod and heavy springs.

No problem, I figured it was worth asking. Maybe I can find a 10mm kit for the G30. Storm Lake shows back ordered at Brownell's but I haven't checked KKM yet...

Have done quite a bit of work with the 10mm since last posting. Had some "problems" with the used Glock 40 that I purchased... The previous owner put in some Ghost parts and rendered then gun not only unreliable but unsafe.... www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/11004643/all/Glock_Smiles.... That has now all been corrected by replacing the aftermarket parts with the original parts that came with the gun. The RAI has had some break-in issues mainly with feeding. The last couple of magazines have run fine...so just time will tell. One disconcerting problem however has been the slide release engaging mid-magazine... Have not had this happen since a Colt .45 Commander I had back in the 1980s. And last...the Para Elite LS Hunter...as stated the Hunter has been dropped from the Para/Remington line. Finally located one on GunBroker that had sat for several weeks at $1400...$150 over what had been retail. Was just about to write the Seller to ask if he would take $1300 when he dropped the price just before the auction ended...and I grabbed it with no one else bidding. I feel blessed as there was another NIB one that sold yesterday for $1525. It has a been a GREAT shooter...and compared the other long slide 10mms out there that all start at $2K a bargain. Two days ago I was shooting and put 8/9 rounds on a one gallon jug at 50 yards standing...very please with the gun...zero issues or malfunctions. And if anyone is looking for bullets, Widener's is having a sale on theirs....got Speer 165 bonded HPs for $0.12 a piece deiveded...less than half price. Great cartridge...Bob I too started out in the 10mm just over a year ago with a RIA 5" that had some barrel issues and had to go back to the mothership. It came back with a new barrel and slide and is running flawlessly. Last fall, I won a Glock G40 at a gun bash. While I can appreciate the design of the Glock, even after dropping in a $100 in trigger parts, I just can't seem to really warm up to it. After SHOT show, I discovered this Pro Match Ultra 6" Mine didn't come with the holes drilled in the frame but for under 1K, it is defiantly one of the best shooting 1911's I've ever owned. My G40 The Rock 5"

He is mine springfield omega 6" Built by Peters & Stahl in Germany, imported and assembled by Springfield on their lowers. Imported in the 80's to 90's hard to find especially in the 6", some came with multi sets with 40 & 45 barrels. Dual extractors, adj comp sights, excellent triggers, and ported right out of the box. Also able to handle a steady diet of the hottest 10mm rounds.

There is a three barrel OMEGA on GunBroker right now... .38 Super/10mm/.45 ACP... I almost bought one several years ago but after doing some research found that replacement parts, especially the extractors, are impossible to find. Peters Stahl is still big in Europe and Australia but for whatever reason no longer imported into the US. I have one of the .22 Conversion Units that was sold under the Pachmayer name and it shoots great. Have been looking for a recently discontinued Kimber Stainless Target II in 10mm (also discontinued the .38 Super that I have one of) and found a LNIB one at a local shop last week. Got to shoot it last night it is just as sweet as the Super is. Pardon the lousy shooting but my strong side eye developed a cataract last year and the sun was at 3 o'clock wiping out what I barely could see. Head shots are factory 180 Federals, chest are reloads with 155 Berry's plated and abdomen 165 Gold Dot HP reloads... Just need a 4# trigger job and an arched mainspring housing and will be all set to go... Bob

BobI love Omega's, I just looked at GB, that's nice and a no reserve penny auction, someone gong to get a slamming deal..maybe last 15 minutes wo knows everyone comes out of the wood work. Springfield has said they do still has some parts and if it breaks down they can probably fix it, or a good GS can make the parts, I will keep shooting mine, like my 68 Camaro I don't buy stuff to just look at it

Wow, I didn't the ParaHunters were going for so much. Might throw my NIB one on GB to see what it would go for.

This is my 10mm. Had it built by the Dan Wesson custom shop. Had them do the carry and ball cuts on the slide. Bob the frame. Clark style rib. Also had them black everything out and no rollmarks on the slide. It shoots very nice.

Do all semi-auto 10mm throw brass as far away as they can? Is it out of spite? Is it just part and parcel of having a round with more oomph? A G20 or 29 is on my "list of things that interest me" but I don't know if I need to move to my "must buy" list.

I've got a g3 20 SF with KKM barrel. Ugly as sin but alot of gun for the money. I always wanted am1911 style pistol in 10 but didn't care for the unsupoorted barrel in the colt. Now, with more knowledge under my belt I might just build a ramped barrel 10. The question is long slide or guberment. I don't need it for carry, just a woods gun so it'll have adjustable sights, standard Wilson parts, Caspian frame and slide. Was thinking of a Barstow gunsmiff barrel so I can fit all radial lugs before fitting hood length (38,5 psi) so its not locking up on 1 or 2 radials. CS is alot more forgiving in this respect than SS.
Right now, if I had to have a nice 10mm, I'd probably do Dan Wesson, if money was no object Wilson. Greg

For the money it is hard to beat the Kimber Stainless Target II... Just saw a LNIB one sell for $750 on GunBroker...new, if you can find one, they bring about a grand.
I was shooting mine a few weeks ago and had no problems hitting a 8" gong at 100 yards with every round. So far zero issues with feed or function.

Colt Delta Elite that I bought in a pawn shop in Midland Tx 25+ years ago. Looks like a project gun that some aspiring gunsmith put together. No markings anywhere on the gun to indicate who did the work. This is the softest recoiling 10mm I've ever shot (also have G20 and a standard Delta Elite) and it deposits spent brass 7 to 10 feet to the right and slightly behind. No smileys from the after market barrel. Now if I could just find a load it likes, I'd be in 10mm heaven. FWIW, Paul

Do all semi-auto 10mm throw brass as far away as they can? Is it out of spite? Is it just part and parcel of having a round with more oomph? I think it is a requirement. My Gold Cup 10 will send them 30 feet away, but, being it is a target gun, all of them land in the same place. Once you find one of them, the rest will be in the same spot. My other 2 10mm's will launch the brass about 15 feet away, but they are more random.
