As a Georgia Resident I think that is great. As a Georgia resident it pains me think about the quality of labor in the southeast. I have seen several companies struggle or fold do to lack of employee's with technical job skills. Especially Machinist. Hope Remington makes it back to the Glory days of the 50' which was way before my time. Either way,out of NY is a good thing.

I loaded some 180 Winchester PP for a friend of mine last year. PIA brass from ball ammo has crimped primers and I had to swage the pockets out. Anyway, 3 shots 3 very dead deer. I think that 180gr. bullet with a large amount of exposed lead makes a great killer at the velocities that the .350 Legend runs. I am considering getting aRuger American in the caliber.

The Suarez triggers in the picture are nice, but as much as I am a fan of them, just put an Apex trigger into a G48X MOS. I kinda like the Apex.....

Actually passed a black couger walking in a ditch next to the road in Jefferson County, Ga. a couple monthes ago. Wanted to hit the brakes and back up to get a picture but 18 wheelers were all over me. BTW.... hunting ghost cougers pretty much requires the same calibers and equipment used to hunt unicorns....

I have a partial brick of old Winchester primers, (K4001P No.1 1/2-108) and was wondering if they are feasible to use. In particuler I was thinking 9mm with Bullseye or some other easy to light fast burn powder. Yellow cardboard box buy the way. Thoughts?

Ha! Someone read this old thread and brought me back to it. Well........4 years later and I still carry a Glock 22, Glock 31, Ruger Nightwatchman (Lightweight) and a Kimber Tactical Entry as my duty weapons. Depending on what I am doing and kinda what I feel like carrying that day. I am currently less than 6 monthes away from calling it and retiring. After 27 years of issuing Glocks, my agency is transitioning to Sig P320 Pro X Carry's (9mm) next month. Interesting gun. I bought a couple P320's last year to play with. Still not drinking the FBI Kool-Aid about the 9mm. May be a wise choice in a urban inviroment, but not my first choice. I have been carrying a Glock 32 as my primary off-duty weapon but have recently picked up a Sig P365. Interesting gun.....even if it is a 9 mini-meter

Awesome deer Harold89! Yea swaging the primer pockets sucks. Hodgon load data shows a OAL for the 180 PP that is substantialy shorter than the factory load. My co worker likes the round so far, especialy since he does not have to hunt for ammo during this fiassco of a year. My brother in-laws in Ohio jumped on the 450 Bushmaster early. My issue with either of those rifle cartriges is that that both take pistol diameter bullets, good for practice. But avalible jacketed hunting bullet selection is narrow. .355 (9mm) and 451 (45ACP). I guesss you could swage bullets down if you have the equipment. Just my 2 cents.....

Loaded some .350 Legend for a friend after he got the dies and bullets.(355). 180 Win PP has a lot of lead exposed. at 1900-2100fps. it does a great job on whitetail deer. At least smaller deer. A state like Ohio that requires a straight wall cartrige, it may be lacking on those bigger deer/

Axe, .357Sig is my favorite self defense round. Usually carried in a working gun G31 or G32. Been loading since it came out. Bought Dillion dies and have had no problems. Originaly it was believed that cases need to be lubed. I found out that was not the case. I always loaded flat nose 125gr jacketed bullets. Blue Dot has always worked best for me. I want to build a .357Sig. on a stable platform (Metal Frame) to realy stretch it out, but never got around to it..38Super will get there easy. Loaded -38Super Major for years in a 2011. Never took it coyote hunting unfortunatly.
