I also agree.The old guns are much nicer and if they were taken care of the should have plenty of service left in them.Plus you can't trust that your new blue gun is blue(blackened stainless).

Just became interested in the SAA.Purchased a used 3rd.Gen. The gun has a frame mounted firing pin and a square notch in top strap.Is this the way all SAA are being produced at Colt now?

Hey needmostuff! Nice grips on the Trooper,I need two sets of Trooper grips if you run across any while Colt shopping.

I just took it easy with friends and talked about guns.I very good day.I am impressed with 32 years straight spent shooting.I wish my job and life would allow that much consistency.
