That is cheaper than what a couple three screws I have will be when I list them. If it is a second year gun it may be a type 1 gun. If it is if will have s small striated ejector button and the neat front sight with the waves in it. Those are my favorite Types of flat tops.

Church today since finished my part in the months long remodel at the B-I-Ls house yesterday. Niece got the listing signed to go live next week and I switched out the last 4 plugs and last light switch. I only got bit once!š Hung the bathroom mirror, installed some floating shelves and gave her my opener so I canāt get in and do anything else. Decided I wonāt do that to my wife so time to go through some stuff in the gun loft and get rid of some things.

I have done that very thing. In fact I have a little tool made to hold the cylinder in a drill press so a guy can do just that.

Mr. Stroh was always a gentleman when I had the chances to talk to him about a project. He reminded me of visiting with Roy Fishpaw when Roy was still alive. I do not think any front sight set up is as classy as Jim's was. I needed one more of his front sights and I found one in Michigan but to get the man to let it go, I had to buy all the Stroh front sight blades he had as well so I ended up with one front sight base and about 20+ blades! I bet with the variety I have I could get just about ANY load dialed in!

As Bushy pointed out to me, I may have jumped the gun on bidding on the 581 since the ejector assembly may be a problem when switching from a L frame barrel to an N frame. Andy Horvath said he has bot an L frame gun adn some N frame barrels so he will take a look and let me know if it is feasible. If not, no big deal. Hopefully someone else would bid on the gun like it did or I have an extra L frame fixed sighted gun! Then I'll look for a HD or another 58 for the starter gun.

As soon as I saw pictures of that gun I knew it was one of those guns where the sum of the different parts would never reach the value of the package! To me it is a perfect picture of the artistry and skill that exists or has existed in the custom revolver world. Contributions by Jim Stroh, Ron Powers, Hamilton, Cary all laid on the heart of the custom revolver canvas by Ruger and a piece of art is the result. Maybe that is why my little āLāil Gunā with many of the same features is the one I carry most often when I hit the saddle.
Well done my friend!

I had highland cows for many years and crossed them with lowline angus bulls and hit great calves. I switched to grass finished and changed my entire calving and butchering schedule once I switched to grass finished. Since you want grass finished animals to be gaining weight when they are butchered I switched to lard June butcher dates and waited until until the cattle where either two of three years old. I also switched to calving in May or June so the mommas had great grass feed when they birthed their calves. Doubt you will get beeves the size you listed with the Dexter Highland cross but you sure will get great beef!

Well my name came up on Kim's list again so we tossed some ideas around and this set is what came out of it. He calls this one his Sixshot model, obviously named after the one and only Dick Thompson, and the second knife is a Sixshot Semi-skinner. The scales are buffalo horn dividing some of the last snakewood I had and some white dentine material I had on had. I really like how Kim came up with the design to place the snakewood on the upper part on one and on the lower part on the other knife. Mike's awesome sheaths top the set off. The steel is D2 and both have mosaic pins. The sheaths are pretty darn tight and as I was putting the Sixshot knife back in the sheath the sheath flexed in my hand ad the knife tip made its escape through the front of the sheath and JUST barely touched my finger. Lesson, make sure sheaths stay straight when inserting sharp knives! Kim had build a smaller light weight knife for me out of snakewood and ivory and it found a new home with Dustin Linebaughs little girl last summer when I was there. She goes packing in with them and rides in front of daddy on his horse so I told her she needed a knife for when she got her first animal so the knife became hers.
