Super Dakotas were slick, but I have to admit....I like the Callahan even better. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Let me bust the piggy bank and see where I stand. August may be a good timeframe for that purchase. Either way, I have to have one. -Lee www.singleactions.com

At the risk of being thrown off the forum the day after I got here, I submit the best looking gun to ME: The S&W model 10 4" heavy barrel. It is "all that you need and nothing you don't" to me, and I have it good authority that God himself carries a model 10 4" with which to "smite his enemies". streamlined, efficient, and enough to get most jobs done...... I agree Louie. Older S&Ws have great lines. In fact, I've always had a thing for 2.5" Model 19s and 66s: -Lee www.singleactions.com

For me to pick MOST beautiful from all I have ever seen, in real life or pictures, would be impossible. I reckon, of the ones I own, the 7.5" USFA Single Action would be my pick, based on its lines, and the quite good standard case coloring. There is something about the 7.5" barrel that seems just right. The factory rubber grip panels are adequate. A close second, perhaps tied, would be my S&W 19-5, though only with the factory stocks in place, not the utilitarian Uncle Mike's grips that I keep on it. Custom stocks would put either sixgun into first place.
