I can't pick just one, but I can't believe no one has mentioned the 1862 pocket police.

On think it over some more, I have to go with robl. My old 1950 Smith in 44 Special is always my pride and my go-to handgun. The slim barrel is like the difference between Marilyn Monroe and Rosie McDonnell. The 29's are fine, but the barrel is too muscular.

I always liked the look of flattop target Colts. When I wanted to build what I thought would a nice looking gun this is what I came up with, inspired by the flat top Colts.

I have always been partial to the 1851 Navy, closely followed by the SAA.

Kaytod's engraved cap-n-ball revolver, tasteful, gorgeous and refined, reminded me of one of the most beautiful traditional single actions I've ever seen. It was a nickel plated, engraved, 4 3/4" Colt SAA belonging to one of our very own forum members who may also be a gun-'riter extraordinaire. I believe it was engraved by Jim Riggs of Texas. I remember the first time I saw it in American Handgunner - my eyes just about popped out of my skull it was so beautiful. What struck me most particularly was that it reminded me very much of the beautiful all-metal cap guns my brothers and I played with as boys! ;D Wow, did that bring back some great memories. I swore that I would have one just like it some day.... I'm still waiting/working on that.
I seem to recall seeing another similar piece belonging to the same gentleman. This one was a stainless 4 3/4" Ruger Vaquero and was as above, engraved by Jim Riggs. Again, beyond description how beautiful the piece was in pictures. I can't imagine seeing it in person. I can't find any record of this piece in any of my old Amer. Handgunners though, so I'm thinking my memory may be faulty - that I'm thinking of the Colt SAA above.
Max.
P.S. If it doesn't rub ethics the wrong way and someone has a picture of either of the above pieces they'd be willing to post I would appreciate it.

Here's my opinion for what it's worth:
One of a kind: Mr. Keith's Number 5
Custom: Mr. Bowen's Nimrod
Production: I'm thinking..........
