I have and do own all kinds of firearms. All of them currently in my safes have a purpose. Bolt guns, semi-autos, single shots, and lever guns from .22 LR to .375 Winchester. Single actions and semi-auto pistols sit side by side. I have a fondness for the 10mm cartridge so I have three different pistols in that caliber, a Glock, an M&P, and a Tisas 1911. Single actions in .22, .22 mag, .41 mag, .44 mag, and .45 Colt. ARs in .223/5.56, 6.8 SPC, and 450 Bushmaster. Shotguns in O/U, pump, and semi. There’s even a .223/5.56 pistol, a .50 caliber muzzleloader, and a couple of AKs just to be well rounded. My daily carry is one of three different “wonder nines” as Col. Cooper would have called them, and all of them have been proven reliable shooters. To be fair, they are tools, no pride of ownership dwells in them, but they are there to do a job if it ever becomes necessary. So far, the only blood any of them has spilled has been of the swine variety, while some of their single action distant kin have done better, and on more desirable animals. I guess one could say that I love all things that go bang.

Well: I really infected my oldest with the gun thing at a young age
so I have a place the gun pile can go to when I go.
He is 69 so there is no for sure but what can you do.
I in the early 60s traded some GI 38 for a new win model 270
slide 22 lr . That gun has plastic front sight mag tube conbo which after a
few years cracked so to cause it eject the tube on maybe on 1 or 2 shots.
It had been a good shooter. The sight has leaned to the right a least a 1/4 "
It has become close to junk , I should buy a 3D printer and fix it (O sure). I have an early
3 screw carbine and the kid has a nm.
