That's going to look nice.
Is the revolver blue or stainless?

Trapr, you know about Hellboy. That was one really trick revolver. Lots of special work, inside and out.
This one won't be getting the frame scalloping or the internal modifications. Also, this one will be getting an ejector rod and housing.

Got in there on the rib/ramp. Milled to width, contoured for radius at barrel and band.

Much more to do.
That band will need to be parted off the stock in that collet. Before that happens, I'll be setting up the barrel, timed properly, and drill for a locating pin to hold everything together while it's silver brazed later on.
The rib/ramp needs more contouring, and at some point I'll dovetail it for the sight blade.
Finishing, polishing, sight regulation, and the ERH will take some work. This will look nice when it's done.

I miss solving those daily questions.
So, not ejector rod housing?

Hello Mr Bradshaw
I do believe it that you're looking at this knowing that barrel timing is on the top of my list of concerns as I go forward.
Hand tight for me is from barrel in rubber vise jaws, and hand pressure on the gun - from there to mechanically tight and set it's not much. Only a few degrees, I'd say fewer than ten.
As you know, too much there is bad.
I'll be setting the barrel timing to the frame first before I go ahead and bore the hole for that little pin seen with the band and the ramp. Their timing will be set before I join the assembly with silver.
