I keep hoping Ronnie hangs out his shingle and starts building complete guns from scratch his way.
I've had the want for a 500 Linebaugh for a long time.

No body has just a chat with Ronnie. It's more like a Texas tornado when he gets started.

Normally I hate it when my phone rings, but was pleasantly surprised this morning while - packing the kids up into car seats - my cell said ‘Ronnie Wells’. That’s a phone call I definitely have time for. It was a pleasure as usual and I threw my name on the wait list for another one of his mad scientist projects. Next time I’m in TX, I’ll have to swing by and bring him some beer and sandwiches. Who doesn’t like beer and sandwiches?

Got my next two Brass Bearskinner Bisley grip frames, should be fitting the first one up tomorrow on an Africa bound scoped 500 Linebaugh. They look better in person than the pics, Ronnie. I’ll but the taco’s next time I get down there.

Been a busy couple of months here at Grip frames R us! Finally got some old drawn out projects that were non gun related cleared out and back on track. 7 days a week trying to get these orders on hams n trigs finished and a few wish list projects for you guys done and bugged out. One of them has been to get the BFR stuff rolled out. Have an old 475 BFR that i hate shooting back to good standings with my middle finger and knuckle. And i found it! Dealer! Dealer with a Bisley trigger guard and top strap contour that works well with the Ruger big Back hump Bisley Hammer and Trigger. Made it out of brass before i tackle the stainless but wanted to prove out my theory. Shot 2 rounds with the Original and was done. Load is 430 grain lead gas check i got from Tony at mt baldy bullets about a hundred years ago, Hahaha. Cases John Linebaugh sent me in about the same time frame and 28 grains of w296. Definately no punk. Burned up 60 of them with pleasure this time. The dealer has serious teeth guys. Believe im going to mount a couple of different 4 degree bisleys up and see how that works on it. I didnt even polish it, i just scratched up a smidge and went a shootin. A little veiw of the top. I think i will add more material and try to follow that hammer contour a little more. Ran out of stainless triggers so i made due. That stainless grabber is headed for the junk pile with its God awful Phi smackatoa Knuckle mashin trigger guard. Sure is Hot here, Movin two more cnc mills in this week and lookin forward to some cooler temps.
