Don't know if I ever posted this. Bowen Longhunter with ovate barrel. 44 Magnum. Have added a set of LSCG walnut grips. Only addition I would make is a set of Snakewood grips.

Giving this one a bump. Arrived today. Base: Ruger New Model Bearcat Grips: Siberian mammoth ivory from Scott Kolar 'Smith: John Powers Caliber: 32 H&R Magnum (will only see 32 S&W Long) Finish: nickel plating with nitred small parts/hammer Base pin: Belt Mountain #5 Work performed: rimfire-to-centerfire conversion, 5 shot cylinder with octagonal flutes, welded up/contoured frame to remove ERH a la Sheriff's model, octagonal barrel, action job Front Sight: 2 Dogs dovetail, also nitred, with set screw

I've got a Horvath and a Tyler that I'll add shortly...had been waiting on the scrimshaw work to be done on the Horvath before I posted it, no excuse on the Tyler. Finally got to shoot both a couple Fridays ago prior to a tuesday surgery (figured I'd make the neurosurgeon earn his money)...both are amazing!!

Somehow I missed this awesome topic but it's very helpful to have different inspirational designs and particulars listed. I went through all of it last night and made some notes related to builds I am working on. I think it should be pinned to stay at the top of the forum.
