I didn’t think I needed one but now I’m on the fence. That’s a pretty little gun.

I saw a copy of the 2018 Leupold catalog and it only listed the 4x and the variable handgun scopes, no 2x. Do any of you have connections at Leupold that could check on the status of the 2x?

There is one for sale right now on the OK Shooters that is a 10.5” for $800 but it hasn’t sold. I thought that price was good.

It had an action job when I got it but it shoots 2”-2.5” 25 yd groups and the cylinder, forcing cone, or crown wasn’t touched. Close to point of aim. Pretty good in my book for a Vaquero type sighted gun.

I have the Cimmarron model P Jr in 38 and it’s a real shooter with a great trigger.

I have one and it’s built and put together well. I also have a short build 45 Bisley from Linebaugh. The new Ruger is so good I can’t decide which will stay in my safe.

That shorty 500 of Tim’s is deceiving. It’s great in the hand. I haven’t shot it but Tim is recovering from shoulder surgery. Coincidence? I don’t think so...

A gun done by Huntington shouldn’t be confused with a gun from Ruger.

Bushog, I’m in Taos for a couple of days and it’s the driest I ever remember it here at the end of the year. Very little snow that isn’t man made in the 3 resorts around here.

I did pick it up a couple of days ago. It is a very nice gun. It has a target trigger and target hammer along with the red ramp and white outline sights typical of many of these guns. The action is smooth and the trigger breaks clean. It is wearing what appears to be non checkered coke bottle rosewood grips. I traded into it to get another rifle out of my safe and I’m not sure it is my cup of tea. One double action in a safe full of single actions...

I have a mid frame Ruger in a 6 shot 38-40 made from a 357 cylinder. Keep planning. You are on the right track.
