Does anyone know if Ruger has reintroduced the Ruger Single Six Bisley 32 H&R Magnum 6 1/2 inch? Seeing a lot of them for sale...
And I've got an itch to get one!

I've been wanting one for years... So have I but Ruger quit making that version sometime back. Well I my new Bisley 32 Mag should be here sometime Friday. After a couple more paydays I'll start accumulating all the necessary loading stuff . I can't remember the year but there was an article around the late 80's early 90's by Ross Seyfried and he was reviewing that model and knew I had to have one. A little something called raising a child and big people responsibilities kinda took priority at the time so getting one was put on the back burner. Anyway, I hope this new one lives up to the hype.

I wanted one really bad in the early 90s and had purchased brass, dies and a new H&G #67 4-cavity bullet mold. I was in the Air-Force and got assigned overseas before I could get the gun - by the time I rotated back the Bisley Single Six had been dropped. I almost sold that beautiful bullet mold too... maybe now I'll finally get to use it!

It looks like a blue hammer in all the pictures.

I never saw a need for a 32 mag or 327 mag, since the 357 mag is more powerful than either one.

It looks like a blue hammer in all the pictures. Yeah I've looked at the pics a lot, but Huey mentioned something about a "2 tone hammer" and gave me the impression it wasn't carbon steel. Ya' know, they've been putting stainless hammers on everything else for quite a while so nothing would surprise me. I want to know what they are from somebody who actually has one in hand and can tell the difference.....

The 32 mag is just a very hot heavy for caliber 22 mag that you can reload to me!

Working in the river bottom in central Wisconsin I needed something to carry. K22 just didn't have enough horsepower for coons and feral cats. 357s were to big to pack around and noisy. Ran into a 32 mag single six and never looked back. My wirehair would run something up a tree so I was summoned by a few barks to knock it out of the tree so he could finish it. That is if he couldn't catch things on the ground. One of the first dates with a gal, that dog woke a coon up along a river through her place and the two ended up in the river. One 3118 through that damn coon settled that. A really mad wirehair came out of the river with a really dead coon. Married her because she stole my dog and my 32.

There is a lot of "arm chair" information regarding the 32s.
As far as the 357 Mag will do more, where does this end? A 41 Mag will do more than a 357 Mag. A 44 Mag will do more than a 41 Mag. So, that's a no-go in my book.
Also, the 32 Mag is a lot more than a 22 Mag. I'm a huge 22 Mag fan, but anyone who's worked with the 32s understand the advantage.
For me, the 32s offer substantial power in a compact package. I agree and wouldn't buy a Redhawk in 32 Mag or 327 Fed. But, Ruger doesn't offer a 357 Mag Single Six. So....
Just my opinion after 25+ years of experience with the various 32s.
