Any of you guys own and shoot one of these revolvers? If so how is the quality of the gun and how durable is it for continuous shooting of mild .38 special cast loads?

I have the Cimmarron model P Jr in 38 and it’s a real shooter with a great trigger.

It had an action job when I got it but it shoots 2”-2.5” 25 yd groups and the cylinder, forcing cone, or crown wasn’t touched. Close to point of aim. Pretty good in my book for a Vaquero type sighted gun.

what kind of loads can these guns safely handle? just regular .38's or are +p's a possibility?

I've been testing some Ruger polymer ammo and Liberty Civil Defense ammo in mine.
I was in doubt about the performance of these light bullets. But, they perform better than expected from the relatively long 5.5" barrel.

thanks, I kinda figured it would probably be best to stay away from +p loads.

I must have checked in a couple dozen Uberti SA revolvers in the last 8 weeks, and I was very impressed with the overall fit and finish. I was surprised, even, at how nice the color case hardened frames come out and the faux ivory isn't so bad, either... but maybe a little too "white" for those wanting an aged ivory look.
