That’s a good looking gun.

You might call John Powers at Powers Metal Works in Magnolia, TX. He isn’t too far from you and does work on a variety of platforms.

When I was younger I preferred cold weather but now that I’ve gotten older and I have arthritis in my feet and my hands I prefer warm weather and dry climates.

I’m headed home to Oklahoma for Christmas. I hope it is a typical nice fall day for Christmas there.

We got 6-8” too. I’m ready for a little break down south.

It’s 3° at my travel trailer this morning in SW PA. Not ideal weather for working on the pipeline.

I’d like to see that scabbard too but I don’t want to be the one footing the bill for it. Doc’s work is great.

I don’t have a picture as it is at my office but I bought a soft sided pistol case that masquerades as a first aid kit. Holds an auto and 3 magazines securely. It had one side covered in Velcro and it will soon be attached to the dash of my work truck.

I’d like to see one with a nice set of walnut grips. I’m a big fan of the BFR but not those whiter than white grip panels. That is a really good looking gun and we all know they are shooters.

My thinking on the 38 and 9mm on the Single Six is that they will go to my kids that aren’t reloaders. They are both regulated for common, inexpensive, factory loads.
