Don,t believe they did a .41 as your picture. I am doing one, I scrounged up a cylinder frame from a .44 super Blackhawk, a barrel and cylinder from a Accusport Bisley. Had to do some fitting but it works fine, still need to do some finish work. The cylinder was too long for the frame and it would not clear the firing pin bushing, a little filling took care of that. The shoulder of the barrel needs needs set back as the front sight when hand tightened clocks at about 4 o,clock. I probably will have to get a smith to fix that as I don,t have a lathe.

Do you anneal the cylinder when reaming, or the frame when doing these conversions?

Looks great. Who made the grips? Are they gunfighter style?

Have you noticed the use of the phrase,(common sense) when liberals speak of gun control. I haven,t seen them use much if any common sense.

I was just looking through a book titled, Wildcat Cartridges and found an article titled, .257 Magnum Revolver. It is a shortened version of the .25 Hornet thought to have been developed around WW-II. There is a diaghram showing case length at 1.300 in.. Velocity with 67 gr. cast slug shown at 1600fps. In the authors opinion (Al Miller) the cartridge would make a neat round for a small-game rifle but impractical in a pistol, and is too much in a handgun.
