So the consensus is we do a 25-caliber on a Single-Six. This was 2Dogs' idea and I like it. The 25 Hornet, 257 Magnum, and 25 Flea have been done a few times over. So no Hornet case. Instead we'll use a shortened, improved 25-20. And while I like the "SA.com" label it sounds too much like a Glock, Sig, AR, etc, type round. Fermin coined it the Jackrabbit and I think the name is apt. So here you go..... Load From A Disc yields the following: Water capacity = 15.2 grains OAL = 1.380" (+/- 0.010"). Single-Six cylinders are 1.40" Powder - 9.5 grs of H110, max Bullet - 60 grain Hornady flat-point Velocity ~ 1,600 fps from a 6.0" barrel Pressure ~ 30,000 PSI -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Where's the Hidestretcher?? This project is going to require a special holster.... Well, if it has a 6" barrel, you will need the holster to be a crossdraw so the muzzle doesn't drag on the ground....

Im in line already. Tell me what I need to do. Actually, how cold izzit where youre at there Lee? I may just go sleep outside the shop.... I think you'd want to stay inside Fermin....it's been in the mid-20's here at night. The next step is reamers. My dad has a lot of projects in queue but I hope we can get to them this winter. I'll keep you guys posted. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Well now, the plans have just changed for a hashed-out OM that I had set aside for another project. It can wait, this is a much better project.

The benchmark should be the 60 grain Hornady flat base soft point.

Nice little round! Have any of you considered new molds for a hardcast, gaschecked bullet? Oops, found the other thread.
