Hey All, Just installed a Super Blackhawk hammer on my Vaquero 44 spec Sheriff model. Easy job for most of you.....dropped right in, but man....took a few tries to get everything smoothly back together! Went to the range today, tried out some handloads (240gr over 6.7 Unique) and man, love the lower and wider profile of the hammer.

I have SBH hammer spurs on ALL of my SA's. It is a nice touch, and like you love the wider profile of the spur. Yours looks great, good luck with it

Looks great. Who made the grips? Are they gunfighter style?

New Vaquero = XR3 grip frame found on the Mid frame flattops?? I always like to order the right product the first time around! Let me know if the New Vaquero uses the same size grips as the 44 Specials with adjustable sights.
