A #5 like the one Bowen did for Brian Pearce if I'm dreaming.

I took delivery of mine about a year and a half ago. From the Colt custom shop: SAA New Frontier; 5 1/2" barrel; blue and color case hardened; level B engraving (50% coverage and they were very generous); one-piece ivory grips with no medallion. Then I had Chris Andre of Slickbald Custom Leather build a rig for it. Loosely based on the El Paso Saddlery Patton rig, fully hand tooled and the leather tooling matches the engraving on the gun. When I carry a pistol, it's the one, and it shoots as good as it looks. I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd love to see pictures of this. I'd be pleased to post pics but I haven't figured out how to do it here. If someone can help, let me know, and we'll go from there...

I've spent the last 4 years whittling down my "want" list considerably...at about 1 - 2 per year. My wife calls it my mid-life crisis; I like to think of it as building a collection of heirloom pieces for our young son Right now, the two "big tickets" that come to mind are (1) Freedom Arms M97 in 45 Colt. 5.5" octagonal barrel, antique ivory micarta grips, cylinder flutes...will probably order mid-2018 in time for Big 5-0 (2) Colt Bisley in 32-20, any barrel length, to be fully restored (Turnbull CCH, APW master level polish/blue on cylinder, barrel and grip frame), ivory/exotic grips, 75% engraving coverage...this one's probably 5 years out on the revolver, and a little longer on the custom work

If you want, I can post them from my smugmug account. My email is dougader at hotmail dot com. I've done this for a few people here.
Otherwise, you need to find a host sight to upload your pics to and then post a link in the body of your post.

I have to say, I've been trying to keep thoughts of a custom Colt on the back burner but that gun is beautiful.

Well, like many others here I am blessed to already have 1 o 2 dream guns including a blue, octagon, bisley, sheep horned, 500L. But there is one more... Linebaugh built 5 shot 45 Colt brass bisley with whatever John thinks it should have. Would posting a picture of those two specimens please? Well I don't have the Brass Bisley 45 Colt ( yet ). That's the dream gun of this thread. But here are a couple so-so pics of the 500L dream gun with Rybka leather.
