You have been given the chance to have the Revolver of your dreams built for Free . What would you come up with? Any Brand, your choice of cartridge, anything it takes to complete your Dream.

It was a long way from free, but my FA97 in 45 Colt is my dream gun. It's light weight, well made and accepts Ruger only loads.
I admit it isn't the a beauty like some of the gun art work I see on here. But, it is Revolver #1.

At the moment, I would say a 5 1/2" Bisley Vaquero in 500L. Dovetail front sight, fitted walnut grips that look melted on the frame and the whole thing a nice deep blue. Of course, a premium action job and maybe CCH on the hammer and trigger.

blued Large frame Bisley Blackhawk in 45 colt with 45acp cylinder. 5" barrel, full length ejector rod housing, custom ejector rod head, pinned in front sight base, custom front sight with long range bars set for a 200 and 300 yard zero, Bowen rear sight, tuned action, Keith Base pin, free spin pawl, slotted frame pins and either Ivory or Musk ox horn Grips.
i'll probably make it for myself in the next year or two.

Nothing built, but a pristine first generation Colt SAA would make me a pretty happy camper.

My first will be here shortly, an octagon barreled 4 5/8" Bisley .500JRH with ivory and 75% coverage engraving. Then I've got a couple more in the planning stages.

I must be living the dream... as I'm about done... a 5 shot 480 Super Blackhawk is about the only thing on my list yet... so I suppose if I had a dream gun, it would be a customized Bisley 480 deeply blued, with a banded front sight on a 4.5" round pipe case color hammer & a nicely fit fancy wood set of grips

I want a Bowen Nimrod in .475 Linebaugh. Hope to make that dream a reality sooner than later.

Given that When I was kid we had no money and my parents had no interest and my first gun was a Ted Williams 22 I used to clean the lead and wax out of with a real dart and some Hoppe's, I would have died to see the guns I have now. I'm pretty much done. Probably
