Novak rear sight, Caspian slide, Kart barrel... Not much left of the original Colt. I think my first post in this thread will be a box stock Kimber Ultra CDP Elite II..

How about a SA V10? No doubt where the "V10" name comes from.

Cool Para, does it function reliably? I bought a Para frame kit about 15 years ago and built a 10mm, I never could get it function reliably. Then I had a Bar-Sto 40 S&W barrel fit to it and it still had the same problem. We tried everything, it was just a lemon. I spent a fortune and had 3 different 'smiths work on it. I finally had enough and traded it off. It's too bad, I really liked the feel of the double stack frame.

Dang Axe, You've got some nice 1911's. I had a Kimber CDP 5" the one with the alloy frame. I let a buddy of mine talk me into selling it to him. I'm still kicking myself. That one was a great shooter and easy to carry.

Kimber Stainless Target II. Can't tell if this is my 10mm or my 45.

At this top of this folder in Photobucket is one of the bullseye guns that flexjr asked about. We can make it the last one for today. This one is a 38 Super.. As a paper puncher we load it more like the old 38 Auto.. Out of a rest, with good ammo, at 50 yards it shoots inside the x ring.

Is that a 1X Dot Burris or a 2X?
