Reviving the dead.... 8 year bump. Was there another thread where we got to see this completed?

* As mentioned in another thread, I've been toying with 475 ideas for a years. Something like this, with an aluminum bisley grips is one of three options. "Creating niches so I can fill them."

I have a flat top stainless donor gun on which I'll be building a 480 some time soonish, and I haven't started drawing up a list of features.
Feel free to make suggestions.

Like I said earlier...that finished gun in the OP was mine. Aaron is the one that tempted me with that first one that was built. Mine was 2nd or 3rd. It was a super nice revolver. Sold it because I wanted a blue one but never got it built. It WOULD SHOOT!

Yeah, I was in line for one of those. Got a blue one with a 5" barrel. It shoots great as well.

Seems like the Mihec 477640 Light would be a good match up for these guns, just sayin'.

I haven't even handled one of Ronnie's aluminum grip frames yet. Maybe a light, scalloped, mid frame 480 will be the starting point for me on those. Might have to call him some time soon.
That 3-1/2" 480 from the other day was nice as it was, but a lightweight could be cool.

I put together a light weight .480 with aluminum grip frame and ejector rod housing. 4 3/4" barrel its very packable.
