This might be worth it's own thread but it's a very good way to pass 3 1/2 hours (and pretty family friendly unlike some of the P&S Modcasts): The first 5-10 minutes is waiting on Darryl and Chris to get logged into the podcast and the podcast proper kicks off around the 30 minute mark but listening to Darryl Bolke's observations moving from CA to TX and the way things seem to be headed is worthwhile IMO. Co-worker/friend recently got a Boomer. He put on a laser grip and LOVES it. He's been keeping me busy loading 180gr XTP's and 185 and 200gr DEWC's.

here is my newest, charter arms boomer 44 sp,,,,,,,,,,,, Have you shot any carry ammo with those little walnut grips? I put those on my Classic Bulldog .44 Special and they were tough to hang onto and the recoil from 200 gr HP ammo was STOUT because of the tiny grip surface. I ordered a set of the full size walnut grips (checkered) and it made all the difference. This is my EDC gun.

My 3" SS Classic Bulldog lives in Pachy Compacts and there are a set of the bigger Presentation grips here put seldom but them on, they dwarf the poor little guy ! My factory woods went to FrankV.

I just recently picked up this model 60-10 chiefs special target. This has been a grail gun of mine since I first saw one a few years ago. I was two minutes too late when it sold. I looked for years and just about the time I feel like I have enough guns one shows up.

I've always loved the looks of the 3" Model 60, just seems "right".

I really like the small frame guns, more challenging to shoot well, but that makes them more interesting! I'm kind of surprised the Bulldog isn't more popular.

I was asked if I have shot my boomer with carry loads. oh yes many times. I am a handloader and boolit caster. my boolit is a NOE 215gr. HBWC I insert backwards. I use 5gr. of HP38 the load is not bad to shoot at all. and I think it is warm enough to heat things up for a 2 legged varmint, I shot an armadillo the other day with it, he is no longer with us ,,,,,,,,,,,,

There is a plastic tote of components for his guns, with his name on it, in my basement. He buys the goodies. When his visits long enough I work on getting him to learn reloading.
