I believe it will be similar to my 500L vaquero but without the welding lines. I am impressed Ronnie, you are a gift.

Guys we are blessed to have these options!!! I just received an aluminum Potato Judge copy with some black micarta stocks - beautifully done and the stocks fit the frame as well as can be done. A little file work and grip shaping and it will be perfect for my 5.5" Single Seven. Thanks Ronnie!!!
BTW, my son is planning a trip down, hopefully in the not too distant future to drop something off. Looking forward to discussing details.

Guys ive been struggling with an idea here to give everyone a way to see differences in these frames. What do you think? Please let me hear from you. I value all of your opinions! This way is very time consuming, but i think it is a very effective tool. Frank Ehrenford has a very unique take on his own design and has made it work for himself on a couple of bisley frames that he modified and tested. It has a larger trigger guard with the top of the middle finger perch lowered and an additional 3/8s handle length. This model is not done but i am looking for feedback on the method used here illustrate the difference factor for your observation! Yelolow is a standard bisley on top of the F.E. This one is Bisley in blue FE in Yellow. Talk to me guys Ronnie

The “fillet” behind the trigger guard saves my middle finger knuckle. Converted a 45 vaquero years ago like this and shot it a LOT with 310 Keith’s at 1200. Couple years back Jeff Oakland and I made it into a 500 L. I still like the frame frame modifications

I wish I could give my input on your frames, but I am some of the few that have small/medium hands and dont have issues with the factory Ruger frame. That being said, I have held and shot the Frank modified frame that has been mentioned, it felt great and sure noticed a difference even with my smaller hands. I feel that the modified FE frame looks great and will work fine with Franks large paws. Ronnies drawing looks spot on to Franks frame based on my memory.
I take that back, Id like to see/feel a frame that drops (in the back) a little straighter and the rounded butt. But thats just to satisfy a curiosity.

See, I cant even answer that Frank. I havent ever felt a rounded butt frame. I have to feel it before I ever commit to buying one first.

That’s a neat way to compare frames! Undoubtedly the best way I have seen! With out overlay you might just be shooting in the dark. Haha I have shot the FE and with the loads we were using(1000 FPS 450 K) it was comfortable and you just kept reaching for more. Good thing it was Franks ammo😉 (I think I got most of it back in the box)
The trigger guard being opened up is one of the best things to do to any frame in my opinion. And that is the beauty of this whole thing with Ronnie! Thanks for offering this service!
