Hey Ronnie- On page 10 you have the drawing with measurements. Bisley and super. So is the super the new one that is a steel XR-3 red rather than Dragoon? I ask because it has the rounded guard? Thanks!

When opening the trigger guard , what are you doing about the locking bolt hole? My vaquero ended up with a piece of brass tubing in the hole to keep the spring from falling out the bottom.

Thanks! I believe it is a Super Blackhawk with a standard round trigger guard or the "SBH hunter" as we call it.

That my Man, is all part of the geometry design of the whole three dimensional picture of the frames. We cant have that. I move the angle and the position of the cylinder latch hole so that it hits the latch just right. I have piles of frames that are not right because of the experimental phase of the putting holes and cuts in the wrong place. But once you have screwed one up all you have to do is measure, move and redrill till you got it right. When you get yours, it will be a bolt on proposition, i Guaranty

Thanks man! This is interesting stuff indeed! The grip angles on page 10 are very intriguing. Would be interesting to see an XR-3 measured up. Just because they are likely the worst at handling recoil. Might be personal for me though as I hate the small guard

I’m sure it will bolt on. It’s only a problem when modifying Ruger frames. You have made that a relic since we can buy a frame that has options beyond hope!!!!! My 44 Special flattop is going to get an aluminum FE special I think. Maybe that’s too large of a frame I dunno

It is awsome for a compact revolver and a man with big paws!

I measured my hand (thought of it at 03:00). It’s 2.750 from middle knuckle to bottom of pinky plus or minus .010
