Looked at my old notes. Auto fab Manufacturing was the other US stamped lantern. Then the “mustard” one I remembered was the Coleman Turd as they were called. I think it’s the 275 if I remember right.

Daaaayuuuum! You've got some cool stuff! Love it all (well except maybe the 275, lol) but the old table lamp is off the freaking hook. Man, I'd absolutely have to find a shade and restore that. So Auto Fab made what essentially appears to be a 220E? That is wild.

I just don’t want to buy an entire lamp for a shade. Haha. They are cool though. The little 200A is nice, small and different. I need to fire them all up again this winter. I think one or two need mantles which I have in a bag if I can find it. 😂

Oh yeah, you definitely need to fire them up. Good Lord willing, my plan is to have my Coleman gear in the woods often this Fall. Can't wait for those cool camp nights and days in the field scouting and hunting. In the mean time I'm totally enjoying my lanterns/stoves and everyone's Coleman gear in this thread.

Zeus That is a nice collection of stoves and lanterns. That 152A lantern is cool it would be neat to find a shade for it. Vmaxsplat the 228B lantern I picked up at a garage sale along with a 425C stove which I have working I just need to clean it up a little more. I have been purchasing most of my stoves on Ebay. I have several 413s some 502s and 426s and I think there are 5 425s two of which belonged to family. I will send you a pm about pictures.

Thank you Vmaxsplat for posting the pictures. The first stove is 1961 413E, the last year for those. I have the box and paper work for that one. The second stove is a 1973 413G I picked up at a garage sale for $10.00. I put a new gas cap gasket on it and massaged and oiled the pump leather and put it to use. The frying pan is a Griswold #8. The BLT sandwiches were great. The last 3 pictures are of a 1963 502 the first year for the 502. The 228B lantern was a fun project I am glad I was able to get it running again. It was made the same year my mom was born. I will have to get pictures of some of my other stoves.

You mentioned having ventilators reporcelanized in your text. Looking around the web, 228b vents are tough to find and mine will need replacement due to some rusted out areas. I'm wondering who does the recoats because it may be easier to get one that is a candidate for rework than one that is pristine. Was your vent reporcelanized? If so, it came out great.

I like the single burner!! Need to pick one up some day if I run across one. The last one I saw was rough so I did not bring it home

Vmaxsplat, I did not have anything done to the vent on the 228B. It has a few chips in the porcelain but they are part of the charm. Zeus, be careful those 502s can be addictive. Then there is the cook kits and heat drums to go with them and the coffee pots and on and on. Lol! More on that later.

Any suggestions on preventive maintenance & techniques for bringing older Coleman lanterns & stoves back to life?
I have a small dual fuel single burner stove & lantern. I've been casually looking for a two burner stove lately. They go quick at the local yard sales.
Thanks.
