Did understand Muttly was referring to archery. The lighted nocks/carbon arrows, high tech, on the long bow part, seemed to require an explaination though. I used to compete at mens heavy tackle class field archery, and was offered a sponsership to go to the first Nat'ls that were held in Indiana. Many yrs ago. Had and used for years one of the first Jennings "S" handles.

The hot load (BB rates it at 1,325 fps and it feels every bit that!). I have not shot it at 50 yards yet and really have only begun testing. I will be using it on something large in the very near future. I will stretch its legs the next time out.

I would bet you could feel that, I used to shoot my 500 S&W with the 440 grain and ran it around 1100 FPS. That was a good group at 25, I hope it stays together at 50 as well. Keep us posted.

Today, I shot a couple .22CB short. The tree rat was dancing around about 45 feet up and it cost me two precious pills to exterminate him, but sometimes that's the price you have to pay for serenity.

My boys were snooping around the gun room while I was loading .38s yesterday. The next thing I hear is, whats this, the other one says, thats not a Bearcat. I turn and look to see what they found and my heart double skipped when I seen the smiles on there faces, I had to say, nice pick boys. Its a Colt Peacemaker .22, CCH frame and 6" bbl, we wiped it down and run a few patches through and headed out with a winchester 333 bulk pack. Over 30 min we fired about 150 rds between the 3 of us, lots of fun had by all, I bet this neat little SA wont live as quiet a life as it had been before its discovery.

I have the same model with a 4-3/4" barrel. It only had 12 rds fired through it before I got it. They're sweet little six guns.

Starting tomorrow, we are gonna rip out the kitchen. Not gonna be fun and probably going to cut into my shooting time pretty deep. Hopefully I can squeeze some trigger time in before I go bonkers...
