It seems like the front sight is going to be adequate.
Now all I have done so far was lined up the peep with the factory rear and front sight, and then fired it from 75 yards at a steel plate, but it hit where i aimed. Could have been luck. Won't know til i actually put it on paper.

Today i shot my Wiley Clap GP about 30 times. That gun just shoots for me. I absolutely love it. The 3" .357? Not today but from 2 weeks ago: New to me P30 v3S Since I got back into TDA after years of trying to like Glocks, I've been wanting to try another HK. Using the small grip panels and back strap this fits my hand almost perfectly. Unfortunately I prefer the trigger of and (so far) shoot a little better with the PX4. Double unfortunately I made a trade with the youngest boy and he got the PX4 before I paid the P30 out. DOH! Looks like I'll need to start looking for another PX4. I might look for a used Langdon PX4CC. MkIV 22/45 Lite Primary Arms ran a special on their blem micro-dots not long ago and for $70 I figured it was worth a try. I don't know what the blem is but if they run the special again, I'll get at least one more. I was using the target to sight in 2-3 other pistols and the 2 circled groups were the last two I used to confirm the sight in, 10 rounds each benched at 7yds. I'm giving serious thought to dropping the Apex trigger kit into it, especially if I can retain the stock trigger instead of having to use a flat trigger. GP100 .357 Finally sighted in the FastFire on this one and decided to quit while I was ahead. Benched at 7yds, 6 rounds of Magtech 158g flat point ammo. This and the MkIV are why I was asking about a good pistol rest.

Yep. The 3” 357 that my wife took one look at, handled and said, “this one’s mine!”
Lol.
She lets me take it out every once and a while.
Those are some nice looking toys.

Thanks! I'm trying to resist one of the WC GPs. I'm trying to figure out what it can give me that my 4" GPs can't but I think it's just a matter of will power at this point.

Granted, I’ve never shot a Match champion, but the WC so far is my favorite 357 GP... those sights work good for me.

Sunday I shot my 336 in 35 Remington with a new Williams rear sight. Zeroed it in anticipation of a hog hunt at the first of the month. The 35 is the back up gun, Im going after them with my 5 1/2” Bisley 45colt. Shot the 5 1/2” 45 colt keeping a decent group at 50yds freehanded Shot a new 45 colt Bisley Vaquero, the old large frame, thats gonna be a sweetheart of a sixgun. Luckily it shoots straight and to the sights. Looks like it may settle on 8.5-9.0gr of Universal with a 255gr LEE RNFP bullet. Hope to try it again soon. Shot a new SS also.
Monday after work I played with the Bis-quero some more. Im really enjoying the Bis-quero

Decided to go a little new school with the Sig P210 American and a little old school with the S&W Model 18. The target was ten rounds from the Sig at 30 feet offhand.

Got out today after a week of rain. It felt nice to stand in the sunshine!!! Shot some heavy 45 colt loads in anticipation of a hog hunt/camping trip this coming weekend. Today I decided to step out of my comfort zone and stepped back to 133yds. Yes, an odd number but thats sitting in my buddys driveway and I didnt want to sit in the lower soaking wet land. I went 7 hits for 9 shots. Thinking I had to hold for some wind, I held a little too much wind, lol Pretty neat to see that 313gr LFN -HP fly and hit that far. I played with my 45 Bisley Vaquero some more also. That gun is just fun! I checked my Marlin 336 in 35 Remington one more time and it seems to be ready. Im shooting a big ole 238gr LFN cast boolit I cast. But the rifle is going to play backup to my 45 colt.

Nothing today, but yesterday spent some time with two recent acquisitions. Two Colts. Mk V Trooper 4" and a Colt Border Patrol 2nd issue, also 4", basically a Mk III Trooper with less polish and Border Patrol stamped on the barrel instead of Trooper. Both are real good shooters.

Yesterday I held our almost annual Hawaii Shirt Shoot. Fast draw with wax bullets. Ten of us shooting shotgun primer powered .45 Colt wax bullets. I personally use a nickle 2nd gen 4.75 inch Colt SA. Lots of fun. The Hawaii Shirt is in memory of a trip to Hawaii that most of us went on.

If I remember correctly, we *did* open up the flash holes, making the cases useless for regular loads. I assume you are modifying the cases, but I am not sure what the advantage would be over regular primers.
