Got to burn up some ammo yesterday. Kind of a spur of the moment trip. Only the second trip after major spine surgery, and the first trip didn’t go well. This time everything was fine. Shot .32hrm, .327 fed, .38spl, and .357 mag, and I was on my game. Now I have somw reloading to do. I will try the big bores next trip.

Yesterday I got a fresh coating of GSR. I took the BSBH 480 Shorty out back and a box of Missouri Bullets PC'd 340gr bullets on 7.3grs of TB. Fun, big BOOOOM echoes down the river valley.

My SIL works for a company that makes accessories and guns on the AR/M-16 platform. My son had never fired anything full auto so today we burned up 300 rds of 9mm and 5.56mm. The little 9mm ran like a sewing machine on a dedicated 9mm lower with MP5 mags. The muzzle brake they are developing for 5.56mm made a stupid large flash, concussion, bang. Big fun and now my son has perma-grin.

It hasn't happened yet, but I couldn't wait ! My young friend heading this way after lunch to load/shoot 10mm. Here we can load then shoot out back and tweek and reload. I'll pull out something in 44 and 480.

Spent some time with a few of the guns I use for deer hunting and the loads I use in them for whitetail, 45 Colt 44 mag and 460 S&W. Then sighted the 460 in for it's next season,, Varmint out to 300, 4.5 low when zero'd at 100 from My 14" Shillen Select Match Bull Barrel MGM. That's w/the 200 FTX riding on top of 51.5 grains of H110 ignited with a Fed. 215 LRM, get's it move'n 2755 fps, and shoots onside 3/4" consistently. Same load in my buddies Encore carbine with a 21" barrel from MGM does 2850 fps. and shoots right at 1" this has been a great load in the single shots, and about 500 to 600 fps more than the revolvers get with the 10" barrel. 100 result's, ready for varmint.
