I have fired mine a little over 100 rounds of .45 Colt and about half that with ACP. It seems to have a preference for the Lyman 255 gr. Keith PB bullet at 800-850 fps over the Hornady XTP 250 gr loaded to similar vel. I will be pushing theXTP's a lot harder the next time out, loading into the Ruger only range. The ACP's I shot were Berrys plated 230's over 6 1/2 gr. Red dot so they were soft loads also. The gun shot both quite well. I won't quote group sizes because I just was not shooting at my best that day. I believe the accuracy possible from this gun would be acceptable to all but the most picky hand gunner.
Oh, I was shooting up a bunch of stuff I had loaded to test other guns and was just recovering the brass as well as giving the gun and me a little range tine to loosen us both up.

Anyone have anything to update? I am very close to ordering one of these and wanted to make sure the bugs were worked out.

I have one it is a great shooter, used it for our local IDPA match with the .45acp full moon clips. Shot the whole match double action and it is quite manageable. Standard cowboy colt loads are sweet and heavy colt loads are also manageable. I am very pleased with the gun, Ruger did a good job

How much are you guys paying for these things?
Seriously.....
And... Is there a warning on the barrel?

Ok accuracy was good. With 45 colt I was able to get groups from 1" to 3" depend on load. This was all heavy stuff. 45 auto was a bit disappointing with best group at 2.5". The acp also prints about 10" below the colt. Not a gun I can switch ammo easy with but when sighted in it will shoot! Jeffer

Very interested in this gun.

There's a guy on pistol-forum having ignition problems w both caliber, but many more with ACP, like 2-3 every cylinder. He's sent it back and says they still have it. Leery now.
