Just belled and primed about 290 rounds of 38. Again with the Lee hand press and a Hornady priming tool.

500 grain Leadheads in my 500 JRH. Finally figured out how to ream the cases without ring cutting. I started with 5 shells and took a portable press to the range a few weeks back. Each was reloaded 6 times at max, fired, and inspected. Luckily I didn't get any of this: -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Good to hear Lee! I'd been waiting for an update on that, actually. Enjoyed the original thread.
Yesterday I loaded up about 150 38 specials with 4 grains of Unique and 158gr swc. I think my production rate for 38 is around 100 per hour, by the time I add up the different stages. The only part I actually timed was charging/seating/crimping and that was about 200/hour. Equipment included a Lee Perfect Powder Measure, which has been running well, and a Lee hand press. Checking loads frequently on a RCBS 502 scale. I think the next time I load these I'll run the brass thru a primer pocket sizer/shaper. Most of the primers wanted to seat Right at flush, maybe sticking out some, and they took a little effort to seat where I wanted them.

Today I loaded up about 100 38 specials, bringing the three day total to about 365. I'm sick of 38 special for a while. So I loaded some 500JRH. 20 rounds with Trail Boss and a 400gr slug.

Didn't load any up today, but I did do some unpacking... The Starline Fairy paid me a visit today and deposited 1,500 cases of shiny new .475 Linebaugh brass on my doorstep. I spent a goodly amount of time sorting into bags of 100 and 250. Actually got 1,504 cases: 2 extra in each order of 1,000 and 500. I just love how they do that for you! I always have an extra case in each bag of 100 I buy retail. Sure is helpful when I do something stupid, like try and resize a .475 Linebaugh case using my .458 Lott dies...
That amount of brass should last me the foreseeable future. I figured with how challenging it was to initially find brass in stock for this caliber, I shouldn't go screwing around and not get a bunch. When you all are looking for a brass purchase, how do you buy? Do you pick up a hundred or so, or do you go hog wild and buy several hundred/thousand?

I loaded some 338-06 and then finally got around to ordering some replacement action screws for a missing rear action screw on my rifle. I'm thinking the groups may tighten up just a hair with all the screws in place! Too bad I didn't think ahead so I could have combined the order with my birthday 22 rimfire scope... those 2 little screws cost me $3.98, but the S&H was $7.08!!!

Loaded a few more .500 S&W with various charges of Unique and the 350gr XTP's. Headed to the range Sunday to try my first shots out of my 4"bbl M500. Sort of getting butterflies at the thought of touching it off. I'm used to stout #2 loadings of 405gr .45-70's in my BFR...but similar power out of a 4" X-Frame is scaring me. Wish me luck...so I don't get crowned by my front sight!!!

I like it I bought 5 lbs a while back because it was sitting on the shelf because it wasn't H110 or 2400. I usually load 24.5 grains under a 400 sierra jsp in my 500 JRH with a LR primer. I've been working up from h110 loads with it. I think max loads are a little more then h110 charge wise but I just stop where I'me happy. Also did 50 rnds of 400gr jsp's in my 500 jrh tonight.
