I found that the 270 TSX and 76 grains of RL15 is a one hole load in my gun. Second load I tried. Does about 2715 in my gun.
I loaded. 50 rounds of fireform loads for a 30 Herrett this evening down at the bench

Ran a lube soaked Q tip down the neck of 100 22 Hornet caases. Ran a .24 expander ball down the throat of those cases. Follow that by running a .25 expander down 50 ot the 100 cases. Seated CCI small primers in all 100 cases. Hope to drop some H110 and seat some bullets soon...

Loaded a few .500 S&W using my 390gr from Matt's Bullets. Guesstimated a powder charge of SR-4759 - about 3/4's of case volume filled - which should be safe.

I've been working on this a few days. I have 155 grain GC & 193 grain no GC cast bullets for my 30-30. What I wanted was to have tight groups with each bullet BUT have the same POI @ 100yds so no scope adjustment was needed when switching between loads. Took quite a few load adjustments. I use the 30-30 for hunting, not killing paper. I got what I wanted and finally today my supply of bullets were loaded.
Now get this, I really gave my gun a good cleaning. You know how a gun won't shoot good after a good barrel cleaning? Now I have to re-break in the barrel. It was really stack'in 'em in there. I will think a while before I clean a barrel that good again.

Hope to get to the bench today to put together some fire form loads for my 240 and 255 Banshee revolvers. H110 and AA #9 look to be the primary powders from the loading manual. Gary says to back down 1 grain for the fire form loads. These are very efficient little cartridges. Maximum loads of 10-12 grains push 65 and 75 grain bullets over 2000 FPS. At 7,000 grains grains per pound looks like I'll expect to load in the neighborhood of 700 cartridges per pound.
