The ones I stupidly sold after having them customized

Love the figure in those grips. And I love the SBH hammer. I also do that on all my single actions

Best thing I ever did was move here. I absolutely love everything about it from the job, to the community, to the mountains

So I got divorced in 2018. Met a girl not long after that. We met on Instagram, we both have Nokota horses. I had designed a buckle with the Nokota logo on it made by Olson Silver. Posted it on Instagram. She liked it and reached out to see if I minded if she used the same style to have one made for herself. Ended up getting together for dinner one night after she had it made (long distance relationship. She lived 4 hours from me.) Things went well and we started talking about getting hitched. She didn't want a diamond engagement ring but said just make me an engagement saddle. So I got myself on a waiting list to have a saddle made and figured I would fancy it up with a fancy horn cap with a diamond on it and custom matching concho's So when I designed the horn cap and conchos, I used the belt buckle design as the foundation of the style for the horn cap and conchos. Kind of trying to tie everything in. When she had her buckle made, she used the black background, mine is made with a rust background color so I went with the black background to match her buckle. I attached a picture of my buckle and the horn cap to show how I used the buckle to design the saddle conchos and horn cap. So time passes and I'm waiting for them to start the saddle In the meantime, I decided to move from upstate NY to Kalispell Montana and she was on board to move with me. During my move, I lost a bearing on the horse trailer just east of Rapid City South Dakota. This was on a Saturday. I had to wait until Monday to get it fixed. While waiting for my trailer to be repaired, she called and broke up with me, on the phone, in the middle of moving my entire life cross country. Guess it wasn't meant to be. Her loss is someone else's gain. So back to the post title. Saddle conchos and horn cap for sale. Beautifully crafted, solid and heavy. $500

I stopped by the 50 year anniversary of Back Country Horseman in Kalispell last weekend after work. I walked in to check out the trade show. There was leather worker/saddle maker there and he had a bunch of holsters for sale. One REALLY caught my eye. I continued to wander around and look at the other tables but I just couldn't get it out of my head. Had to go back an buy it. And I couldn't believe the price tag was only $100. Basket stamping matches my saddle/ gun belt, and most every piece of leather I own that has stamping on it. I bought it, brought it home and put my 5.5" Alan Harton custom .44 Special in it. I'll be darned if it didn't fit like it was made for that gun. Time to strap it on and head for the backcountry and put some honest wear on it. Perfect for riding and exploring in the back country!!

Mine is me in South Carolina. I was there hunting hogs horseback with dogs riding Marsh Tacky horses. The guy who I went south to hunt with was big on promoting the breed so liked to stage a lot of pictures. He had us all jump the log out in the swamp while we were hunting. Went down there for a total of seven years and then as things will do it ran it's course and I haven't gone in the last two years. Great memories of hunting with a great bunch of guys.

So when my son turned 21 in Wyoming, I shipped some handguns to him. One being a Super Blackhawk with a 7.5" barrel. Not the easiest packing gun especially when he is only 5'8" and 140 lbs. Fast forward he wanted an OM SBH. I had the perfect packing SBH. An OM with a 5.5" barrel. Being in NY I really had no need for it as my .44 special took care of anything NY offered ad four legged predators. So I sent it to him with the caveat that if I ever moved west, it would come back to me. And now living in NW Montana, the four legged predators have become much bigger than what is in NY. Boy would I love to get that 5.5" SBH back and wear the bluing off of it in the field, horseback, hunting.... but he absolutely loves it. Guess I'm on the hunt for my own 5.5" OM SBH What we won't do for our kids. Here's the SBH that seems to be stuck in Wyoming.

Check out Steiner or Ventrac mowers. They can handle hills like they were born on them

Here you go gunsbam. Not extremely high quality, but good enough for me, especially since I'll be trying to wear the blue off of it.

So, any updates on this gun? Game taken, honest wear from being carried in the field? Did you get a holster for it?
Inquiring minds want to know!!
