That's what's the matter with kids today, they don't get corrected for being bad. Mom hit us kids with a wooden spoon. We were Italian, we got it good! LOL Yep, me too. My mom came here from holland. They called it a po-lapel (spelled phonetically) She'd rap our knuckles, backside, anything within reach. I grabbed it out of her hand.....once. She gave me a look I will never forget. I quickly gave it back to her. Never did that again.

So I think I bought this coffee cup on this forum many years ago. My son has one and mine just broke. I'm wondering if the person that offered these up for sale wanted to make another run of them. I'd be in for 6 of them if they did.

I use extra virgin olive oil on my saddle, reins, saddle bags...... As a leather conditioner I really like it. I was just worried it would make the leather too soft and remove the rigidity of it.

For some reason my search function for this site won't work. So my question is what to use for a leather conditioner for a leather holster. Obviously I want it to retain it's stiffness and not become a floppy piece of leather so what are some good products for this?
Thanks

I have one. Alan Harmon did the work. I love mine, it's my go to for all my riding. I'll try to get a picture up on a bit.

We had a grizzly killed here in Whitefish. Two guys were scouting for hunting season and surprised the sow and cub. They killed the grizzly, but not before one guy shot his buddy in the shoulder during the incident. Beautiful country down there. I'd like to move down there, or out towards Libby. Prices here in Kalispell for land/house/apartment are crazy. Congratulations and if you ever swing up this way I'll buy you a beer. Or bring up your horses and we'll ride into the Bob.

A little baling twine and some Duct tape should take care of that.

Yeah time flies. Someone posted on the forum long ago about their 1920s vintage Colt 44 special and how it had become an extension of their body as they ventured about on horseback through the Rockies - their “one gun”. At the time you were in NY but now you are there. Maybe your number five will become that! It's got a good start on making it! I've gone out and shot it and packed it more since I moved here than in the last couple of years combined!
