I final got around to swapping my plow handle 41 mag hunter grip frame to a bisley. I still have a little more filling and polishing to do. But I like it a lot better . I swapped the frame trigger and hammer all to the bisley. Had a set of the reddish ruger grips from a 480 ruger not best fit in the world on the grips but turned out pretty good for me doing it. Can't wait to get it to the range now .

My dad had and old Bearcats that he carried with him at all times. It was a good shooter . That what he thought me to shoot with. But my sister had it at her house and some jerk broke in and stole it with all the rest of her guns. That the one she didn't have the serial number of ofcourse. But it did have my dads social security or partial so number on inside of one of the grips. Is what dad and her told me. But its kind of hard to take every grip off everyone u find and prove it was it and it was stolen even if u can find it. Wish I could since he has past away .

On the 45colt I emailed henry and ask them about what loads I could use. They replied standered and +p up to 260 grain but no +p+ loads or heavey lead. So what kind of velocity can u get with +p loads. Looking more favorable for 41 mag and 44 mag. Let's add 41 to mix also just dont now how to add 41 poll.

Georgia mt, mountain laurel ,close range thickets gun ,inside 75 yards. SHORT RANGE, YES; SHOOTING THROUGH BRUSH,NO. Might should have explained myself better didn't mean shooting threw brush (have a 45 70 for that and a Encore 500 s&w katilina) ment short handy light rifle to pack around in mts and brush.

It's been stored in a cabinet or box in my basement away from sun and alot of heat . It still has the white seal on top of it but I can not say for sure it was air tight on the h322 but the imr in metal can has never been open. And I found out the older powder they used more carbon so it was blackish grey and the new h322 has less carbon and a greenish tint to it.

How do u tell if powder is to old to use or if it has gone bad. I have a pound of imr 4831 that has never been opened that is in a bright orange metal can and nearly a pound of h322 that is in a plastic can . But I know I have had them at least 17 years before I moved . The h322 has some used out of it from when I loaded 45/70 before . Now I have started loading again is it safe to use. Also I opened the powder and there is no smell to the old h322 but the new can I open has the same smell as all rest of powder but it has a greenish coler to it. Is that right never seen a different coler powder.

Ah yes, but the .500 Linebaugh has been playing second fiddle to the .475 Linebaugh since the .475’s birth. Consequently, the .475 (in my opinion) has been developed more. From the start the .500 should have been loaded with heavier bullets....but I digress. I am working on a project that will bring the .500 Linebaugh into a new realm....and that’s all I’m going to say about that... :-) You are killing me . Cant wait to see what u got in store.

Yes they are selling well I have been waiting on a 5.5 for a couple months. Thought I had it when I got call last week but they sent a 500 jrh instead of a 500 Limbaugh. Lmao. So I guess the wait starts over .lol The .500 JRH has no flies on it, plus there are a lot more bullets available for it. That said, I think you should have both. :-) I will have both lol. I have already got 5.5 500 jrh. I have the 500 linbaugh 5.5 and a 480/475 6.5 on order. As soon as my brother in law buys my 480 ruger 4 5/8 barreled ruger next week I am going to order me a one in 460 s&w with 7 1/2 barrel. Been saving a long long time for all these. Lot of side work. Lol
