Did they ever actually produce any rifles? I know Jeff Quinn tested one at SHOT a few years ago.

New to me 500 Linebaugh. Will and I traded. He needed a shorter barrel, I needed a longer one. I am happy we are happy!

To 500fksjr, I really only had to wait about 2 weeks.
I had put together the cash to have John build a 4 3/4" 500 Bisquero with Dustin Linebaugh white micarta grips. I spoke to John a couple of times over a 2 week period when this gun showed up on Gunbroker.
I spoke to Eric at Hendershot's where the gun was consigned and corresponded with the original owner. This 500 was delivered to the original owner in June of 2000,( John's serial number 39)put in a safe, dies were purchased but never opened. He says he did not fire the gun.
I take that with a grain of salt but the dies that came with the gun were unopened and the gun is spotless. There is a very faint turn ring but even the firing pin bushing aperture in the loading gate is spotless so maybe......
This is the exact gun I would have ordered. It's a near twin to John's own 500 vaquero that is in Taffin's book. I have the Number 5 base pin but otherwise it's the same.
I couldn't be happier!

No range report yet. I shot 2 cylinders of Grizzly 435s@950 practice bullets just to make sure it went bang.
I have 500 pieces of brass and bullets on the way.
More photos and range report to follow.

After an excruciating wait it finally arrived. Regulated for 450s@ 1100. Grips are growing out of the frame. In my eyes this is the PPP. Now I will wait for my Barranti NW Hunter.
