I'd wager the lack of a web page is not hurting his business, and may be a distraction, but I would sure like to be able to drool and plan!

Blood Meridian: Or The Evening Redness in the West, Cormac McCarthy. I love the book. I loved All the Pretty Horses, read it once each deployment for a few years. We all know how that movie came out. Casting a 30 year old guy from Boston as a 16 year old from San Angelo Texas was the first mistake. Movie was so bad people won't read the book!
Blood Meridian would be great with Jeff Bridges as Judge Holden. I thought he was great in True Grit.

Come on Will, the "Buy NOw" is only 1200. He must have relisted it. These always come up right after I am broke!

Simply Rugged, simply delivers. Quality, value and timeliness. Not the best photo or angle but it's a Model 29 in a Sourdough Pancake. Very stable, rides well absolute ly secure.

Good luck! I have not had an issue with the safety yet. I plan on having a Turnbull upgrade on this one including removing the rebounding hammer junk.

Four good frinds and I hunted the Winston GMU near Toledo, Wa. Mostly Weyerhaeuser property around Mount Saint Helens, the Toutle and Cowlitz rivers as private land hunting is now pay-to-play here. The ground in the photos is very representative of what we walked each day. Clear-cuts of various ages. Some thick with Jack Fir and blackberry brambles others much newer(or older) and easy to walk and see. Looking from left to right (SW to NE) is the ash flow path and what is left of the upper Toutle. Mt ST Helen's behind clouds to the upper right. Fall colors. I carried a S&W 629 and my Win-Miroku 1886 Extra Light. Shameless Simply Rugged Sour Dough Pancake plug! 1886 Opening day through Wednesday morning we were in and around elk but could not get on legal bulls(3 pt minimum). Wednesday morning however we were in them first thing and saw 3 legals. two 5x5s and one 6x7. Unfortunately, I never saw anything but cows with-in open sight range. Two of our party killed 5x5s. The one on the right significantly larger than the left one. The big one weighed 447 hanging at the butcher(no feet, head, hide or guts). I can assure you it was a bear getting it to a point that we could get a vehicle to. Most of those clear-cut systems we hunted do not allow vehicles off of the designated roads. All in all, it was a great week of hunting and fellowship. I hope everyone's hunts are as enjoyable.

There is some fine eating to be had here! Hoping to add a Roosevelt elk to the tally this year with my Miroku-chester 1886 EL.

Steve I caught many a scrappy small mouth as a teenager on dry flies. I used a 5 wt and fished the upper Deleware near Honedale PA and Cochecton NY. Killed many a little white tail with my Bear Grizzily too!
