I think it was Skeeter that wrote about the 357 being the ultimate survival gun. But that was before the 327. Everyone need at least one.

Check your trigger spring. Also push the trigger forward to see if it will engage right.

I have a 3.75" s/s vaquero with birdshead grips in 44mag. That is the one I carry. It shoots 44 specials as well as the magnum loads. See no need for me to change.

Stick matches and candles work good to blacken sights. Done this many times.

Maybe try a softer alloy for your bullets. It has worked great for me.

Yes... Have some Acraglas in the shop. There is simple 2 part epoxy bedding out there these days. . I have built several of those kits. Go for it. Will work good as long as you strip the lock plate and use plenty of release on the plate.

I used to cast a lot of round balls. .36 to .62 caliber. Like Mart said run them a little hotter. I used candle wax t flux with. I used steal and aluminum molds. Also a couple of brass molds. Smoke them with a candle.

Vaquero 44 magnum cylinder will fit. Also cylinder from a 5.5" super will fit. I have used both. Both are fluted.
