I have had one in .357 in their blue finish for about 12 years. Have shot the heck out of it it is still as tight as new. Maybe not the prettiest girl on the block. But have not found any bugs in it.

Where I travel in the woods small caliber handgun don't have much use. 44 special or magnum are what I carry.

Years ago when I was running hounds I killed one with a 22 pistol. We were coon hunting that night in creek bottoms in farm ground.

I have a grandson in law, when I told him one time that there had been cougars reported in the area he was hiking in. I told him he needed to be packing a gun he just laughed. He thought I was talking about the 2 legged type. Scard the hell out of him when he found out what I was talking about.

To answer your ultimate Question.. NO. Having a "cowboy" gun WILL NOT MAKE YOU A "COWBOY.." Neither will the hat and boots!

My RCBS Junior broke the ram-holder this afternoon; I suspect all the bullet-swaging is what did it in. Looking for something tougher. Suggestions?Contact RCBS they have replaced anything that i have had break so far.

I just pulled 3 boxes of 7-08 ammo and one box of 338-06 that I had loaded with IMR 7004 ssc. There is a recall on that powder. What I used is a electrical crimping stripping tool ,and my single stage press works good .
