Steve’s post about his new 475 inspired me to post a picture of my latest acquisition. Made a deal on this ‘almost new’ FA M83/41 with Zeus and picked it up today. It came with the Pachmayr grips which I am not a fan of so I took the grips off my 44 for now. I’ll eventually make a set for it but this is fine for now. Or if I can find a wood set that someone wants to sell. Also, placed an order for a narrower front sight blade from Fermin. Heading to my lease Friday for the weekend with a bucket of hand-loads and 1000 acres all to myself. Should be a fun time and a good first date with my new girl. Lastly, I’m sure everyone on here already knows what a good dude Zeus is. Super great to deal with and talk to. Ok, here it is…

You gonna red dot it, or magnified optic it?? With a magnified optic it’s an easy 200 yard gun, with practice a red dot can be used to that distance. A silver 1-4x would be perfect Trapr

I’d be proud of that gun for sure. With it, the outer edge of 41 Mag performance can be explored.

She’s staying naked for the time being… If you get to looking for a 2x Leupold, I may know where a box full of those are as well 🤣🤣

It’s amazing how accurate FA’s in 41 mag are. You can wring out pin point accuracy with great glass and a few different accuracy loads.

Trying to insert a full size picture. Can’t figure out how. Me either. But I’m sure that’s gonna be one of your favorite hunting guns. Those grips look familiar ! I would have to have some kind of optic to shoot beyond 25 yards or so, my eyes, and most of the rest of me, ain’t what they used to be……

Maybe even splurge for an octagonal barrel.
