"The first question is, how many five shot (454 and 480) Bisleys were produced? The demand has not been "earth shaking".
The Bisley 480 and 454 did happen. I think there's a lot more of a market for the Maximum for the reason of less recoil alone. Projectiles are much cheaper as well. Make mine a Bisley or Bisley Hunter, but I'll take anything I can get.

maybe we could start asking ruger and bfr for a revolver in the new 350 legend. i have not looked at the numbers but i bet a max reamer would would work to make it a max pistol. MRI has one shown on their social media page in .350

If they can take a chance on a thousand dollar GP-100 then i don’t see what the big deal about a new maximum.

So is this idea of resurrecting a Ruger .357 Maximum (stainless & Bisley Hunter, preferably) officially dead? It's been eight full months and I haven't heard a peep since. I really think these would sell well. Most people who remember the original Maximum know the flame cutting issue was a non-issue. Folks that are new to this caliber wouldn't be tainted by the pasty myths surrounding the cartridge/revolver combo.

I think you guys have been smoking some of that wacky tobaccy. Dreams may come and dreams may go, but the MAX is just a pipe dream.
With that said, I'll take 2, please.

revolversmiths out there praying for stainless max frames. you know how much dumb stuff i'd build if I could just click buy on a frame and not have to hunt them down and feel bad about taking it apart?

Prescut We said that for a long, long time about a 5 shot .454 and .480 Ruger. How many decades did many of us wait for a flattop .44 Special? I'll keep waiting on that stainless .357 Maximum.
