Today I picked up another .22 Single Action, one I have never had before....a 1966 Ruger Bearcat. I had a chance to buy this exact same gun back in the mid-1960s when I was doing some trapping as a teenager. I narrowed my choice down to a Bearcat and Beretta Mix .22 Short and made the wrong choice...such is life. This one is in about 95% shape and shows very little use. Hope to try it out in a couple of days...

So those are mine...hope you will post yours... I know some of you have some real nice ones...
But standard factory or a Bowen Custom...all .22s are fun...

My favorites are these. Single Ten and a Single Six Flatgate. I sure am jealous of that FA you have.

What's your opinion of this gun? It's an entire metric butttonne of money for a 22, so what are your thoughts? Especially compared to the rest of your collection. (these pop up once in a while and they're such a temptation!)

That is quite an impressive assortment you have. The USFA is a phenomenally beautiful sixgun! I've long wanted a 22 rimfire Freedom Arms but I'm just too much of a tightwad to spend that kind of money on a 22 revolver...Maybe someday?

These are my .22's, a Ruger Single Six, Uberti Stallion, and a Ruger Bearcat. I don't shoot .22 very much, using a reloadable .38 for that. The Uberti seems to be my pet .22, sort of keep the Single Six back, and the Bearcat is just too small to suit me. Bob Wright

Wonderful collection. Really love that USFA. Missed a shot at a fairly priced one several months ago and have been kicking myself ever since.

Single-Six Hunter...best shooting SS I have ever had.... Nice collection of 22's. I was at my LGS the other day and they had one of these in the case complete with a newer FXII 4X Leupold and 22mag cylinder. $650.00. If I had'nt just bought the FA 454 I'd of picked it up. A mate for the 45Colt BisHunter. The only 22 I have is a funky little derringer made in Germany.

Those old Bearcats are great, both rjm's mid 60s alloy and bobwrights super, my boys and I play with them regularly. All the .22s show here are very nice and I'd be happy to have any of them, but those M97s really nag at me when I see them used.
