I really want to get a BFR in either .45-70 or in .444 Marlin eventually.
If that .500 Linebaugh goes into production, I'm gonna have to get one!

Will BFR sell the grip frame separately for retro fitting? I would sure prefer the bisley style on my .475!

But you either need to send it to them for fitting or fit it yourself. For $425, you can send your gun yo JRH Advanced Gunsmithing and they will fit the grip to you hand and give you figured walnut grips! That was my choice for my .500 S&W Magnum BFR.

That’s a good looking gun. Seeing all these new bisley BFR's have got me counting the minutes before my 7.5 comes in. I put it on layaway but almost wwant to just dip a credit card to have it inbound sooner

I'd love to have a 500 JRH BFR 7.5" but the brass is what stops me from getting one. Are you guys making brass or buying it from buffalo bore?

That's what I would do if I still had my JRH.

The most inexpensive way to get a different grip is to send the grip frame as is to Zane at LSCG. Very similar to the SBH grip and it works well. This is my 500JRH with Turkish walnut.

Yes they are. Zane does outstanding work. The rams horn set he made for me are beautiful. His work is top notch.

Hey Max,
what criteria do you use to select how for forward or backward to mount your scope? I have found myself using aesthetics as a guide, and am left wondering if I am leaving something on the table with respect to ergo/performance.
Looks like your 444, you could cut the front part of the base off, or use the weigatinny mount, etc.
